i just want to comment on the response above, well it seems like you believe in the phrase "to see is to believe" well what about air? you cant see it, but yet you believe in it.. actually there is really nothing wrong in having faith with God, because there is nothing we have to lose, and it also helps us in our daily lives.. when we feel afraid or worried, i just pray to God and i feel comforted..

i never said there was something wrong with ppl believing in god. i dont thats all that matters..if you do and that makes you happy thats wonderful. i dont need to believe in god to live my life as a "moral" or good person. as far as air..its not whether or not i believe, its scientific fact. i need air to live and i am still living therefore air exists. lol so much for needing science to prove that right! someone above mentioned if god was proven it would no longer be faith. certainly true. thats the part i cant buy into...i just cannot have blind faith in something. its just the way i was "made" lol. wonder why i seem to have offended ppl when i gave an honest if personal opinion on a subject that i did not create? isnt that what she asked for? i have nothing against ppl who do have faith, like i said before if that is what makes you happy then that is great. i just dont need a religion to keep me towing the line of right and wrong, i can do that for myself.

Why is it necessary for anyone to ask why some people can't believe in god. It isn't necessary to everyone. I am a Christian and try to follow what was taught me as a child by my parents and in Sunday school. In that sense I guess you would say that I believe in God. I pray at times but don't make it a daily habit. The reason why others don't do the same things that I do is simple: it is their choice not to. Just because I like to watch football/soccer games does not mean that everyone else should. Religion and faith cannot be argued....only discussed. We expect others to accept our beliefs so why shouldn't we accept the fact that others believe differently.

because many people, me included, need something more than blind faith. we need some form of proof, something that isnt just words in a book that may or may not be true. show me solid, tangible, right in front of my eyes proof, and i will believe in god.
