Elf-Liberation by hermeiony is of any use???

dobby the elf - dobby was an elf and worked for the malfoy family. he was freed by harry potter in his secind year ever since dobby has worked in the kitchens of hogwarts and has always been a help to harry potter

Dobby is the house elf and hermeiony wants their liberation and their rights.does this chapter in harry potter series is of any use.do you think that this is any how related to the story of harry fighting with voldemort?

i think thts how rowling is creating a suspense in it.and the book is not alone of mr.potter,other characters must be given equal importance.and thts what is done in tht part.
