Is it possible to delay or even prevent type 2 diabetes from ever developing? Yes it is. There is a lot you can do yourself to know your risks for pre-diabetes and to take action to prevent diabetes if you have, or are at risk for, pre-diabetes.

Yes. My mother has it, and she doesn't take it seriously, now she has a huge cut on her foot that is not healing. And she is taking it a bit mroe seriously.

it is true there are plenty of things you can do for prevention when you have borderline diabetes. i have been a diabetic for 6 yuears. for the first 3 years i didn't take it serious. i do know but a lil bit late. i have neurapaty in my legs from it and i have shadowing across the half side of my left eye. i wish i would of paid more attetion when i was diagnosed and did as m doctor suggested
