Is it easy or difficult for you to cry?

Bunny find it difficult to cry! - Bunny doesn't like to cry. She don't cry easily like watching a tragic movie or hearing a sad love song. She only cried when it is about an emotional issue.

Its been a widespread belief that crying is therapeutic and that failure to cry is a danger to our health. A lot of my friends are telling me having a good cry can somehow give them a temporary relief. But for others, including me, crying bring no sense of relief, release or resolution. I may cry for a while but there is no appreciable change in the way I feel. I may even feel worse or "washed out." That's why I don't like crying. I heard a lot are saying they cried easily over nothing. Like watching a tragic movie, hearing a sad love song or because of happiness. In this instances, I don't cried easily. I only cried when dealing with emotional issues. Do you think you can cried easily? Do you find it easier to handle an emotional issues when you cry? Is it difficult for you to cry and why? Or you just refused to cry at all? Do share your thoughts.

Oh baby, crying is useless. Unless what experts claim, I find they do not release tension or whatever. Neither does it make you feel better. I have reached a point of such sorrow that my tears have dried up. Many times I tried to force myself to cry (yes I know I am a guy) but believe you not, I just can't. Can't even squeeze a drop out. That's how bad the drought in for me.

I am a big cryer! I cry at the drop of a hat. When I am happy, when I am sad, when I am worried, when I am proud. I cry watching tv all the time. My kids always make fun of me. I dont think of this as theraputic, because i always feel like crap afterwards. It is just something I can't control.

I really wish I could cry more - but I am fighting myself whenever i feel it coming. i do feel alot better after a good cry, so yeah - I wish I could do it alot more often. I used to cry alot in the past - but my ex used to mock me about it, and he made it very difficult for me to allow myself to just bust out.. Cant remewmber when I last had a good cry...

Marie, your ex was stupid to make fun of you, thats why he is an ex,he did not deserve you.He caused you to suppress your feelings, don't let what he did discourage you from having a good cry.

You know, marie, there is nothing wrong in having a good cry. It is to express something out. I'm glad you are not with your EX. He should not mock you. Its not funny at all.

Easy. I guess I'm a sap. LOL I cry during soaps sometimes, movies, tv shows, sad stories on the news and most especially when I say good bye to someone. Like if I visit my sister who is 2 hours away and when we say good bye I get all choked up. My Mom was the exact same way.

When I get stressy alot, I cry, I often say to my Hubby when I am with him, not to be sad if I do, because it's the way I release stress. I don't like shouting at any one or geting into a pissy mode, so I cry it off when I am in hyper stressed mode. I am trying to be brave though at the moment because I am pining for my husband, but I am not crying much, trying to be busy here responding to discussions helps fight that.

That's understandable, dear. You've been declaring your love for your hubby to the world and I admire you for that. I should start declaring my love to my bunny too, LOL!

It is a blessing to be able to cry, and have emotions, feel the sadness , but also happiness, see the beauty and cry for Joy and see the cruelty of this wicked world and pain of others and feel with them and for them and cry. Yes I cry very easily. Alot of people say I am a very sensitive person. Even the littliest of things can make me cry. Sometimes once I start crying I just can't stop. The tears just keep on coming from my eyes. So yes I pretty much cry alot and so therefore I think I cry easy.

Oh I'm a "crier" definately! I burst into tears at the smallest thing - a sad song on the radio, a news story that touches me, a film, a book or a TV programme.............as well as the more important emotional and traumatic personal events. My Mum, bought me up to my feelings, and not "bottle up" emotions. I've always been someone who found it easy to cry since childhood, and now, as I approach the dreaded menopause when hormones are upside down anyway - I am far worse! I'm sure I would be ill if I didnt have a good cry over something at least once a day!

Mixed. If someone I care about is hurt or is having serious problems then it's very easy for me to be effected by it. On the other hand myself I don't unless I'm really wrapped up, but I do openly admit a lot of times I do get down and allow my troubles out this way. =) ~Joey

Hi charm, i can cry at the drop of a pin,and i sometimes get embarresed about it,but i am very tender hearted...Just give me a sad story and i will tear up fast.I don't really think i like it sometimes because people look at you like you are crizy, but i cannot help it..I can just be upset and cry.it always makes me feel good to have a good cry.Now my sister she says it is hard for her to cry,and she just builds up pressure in her chest but the tears don't come easy for her...I think cryers do let out a lot of stress,so maybe that is good...

Before, I used to cry a lot. Crying has been like a hobby for me that i usually do almost every night. its been like a form of releasing the heartaches, the pain, the sadness, the frustration, and the desperation. It's crazy but it feels good after you cry. Music helps me to cry easily. Usually I play sad love songs to help bring down the tears. Anyway, it was a long time ago when I've been doing it. NOw, I seldom cry and finds no reason anymore to cry at all. Guess I've been just more stronger.

I have a very soft heart and I can easily cry even to simple things.I cry so easily when it comes to family problems.Yes i'm very sensitive when it comes to my love ones.Crying is one way to ease the pain.So if I have problems I dont hesitate to cry to my friends. Not bad to cry but make sure that in crying it realeses the pain.

Hi Bunny! For me it depends on the situation. If I am really stressed out or if a friend or family member has hurt me then I cry very easily. But if it's just a sad song, sad movie, or something like that then I won't. I always thought that crying meant you were weak and I didn't realize that wasn't true until after I moved out of my parents place and started living on my own when I was a teenager (17 or 18). While I was pregnant with my daughter I was VERY emotional though so that was different. I would cry at the drop of a hat. Every sad movie, song, commercial, or kind word would make me bawl.

People change and sometimes, there will be a person, like in the case of your daughter, who brings out the emotions out of you. I happened not to be like that.

Oh, I am SO a crybaby. I cry easily at almost anything with an emotional high. TV shows, commercials, seeing other people cry, you name it. Sometimes, crying does relieve me specially if I've been keeping my feelings bottled up for quite a while. It does give me some kind of relief but most of the times, I just feel silly crying at not so important things.

To cry, it is too difficult for me and most of the men, i think. Especially if someone looks at you. For most of the people, crying can be thought as weakness. In fact, they cry but their tears flow inside and it ruins everyting it touchs. It accumulates inside the heart and brain, and finally you may be strungled or you explode. Both of the choices are not suitable for human, i think. I always prefer laughing rather than crying. To laugh is also difficult in such a world, right?

There is nothing wrong for a man to cry. I find it hilarious that others considered it as unmanly, a sign of weakness. Its really not healthy to keep everything inside. I agreed though that there is nothing to laugh about in this world.

I become emotional very easily, like at patriotic events, or when I hear or see my daughter perform somewhere. Sometimes movies make me cry, or conversations, hearing about someone's hardship makes me cry. Hearing other people's joy also makes me emotional. I often do feel a great release after a good cry.

I am a very sensetive person thats why its really easy for me to cry and shed a tear.Just even watching a particular scenerio in a television show or a movie, especially if could relate into it.For me my tears are incontrollable and i cant handle them if they fell down. But i also share my thoughts to unburden my hurts.Especially when we have some misunderstandings at home i cried easily.

As a counselor I do believe crying can be therapeutic. On the other hand, I hate to cry because I usually get a headache when I do. I cry all the time, for all reasons; happy, sad, angry, frustrated, etc.

Of course you have trouble crying, who has ever seen a bunny cry? LOL I do cry when upset or angry. I cry out of anger because I may want to do something else, that is not so nice, so I cry...lol. You know us monkeys have pretty bad tempers. I don't cry easily at movies, etc but will cry if something really touches my heart. I don't consider myself a cry baby, but I do somehow feel better after I cry. maybe it's just the time that passes while crying helps me to get over the situation.

For me i find it hard not to cry more than anything. I am very emotional. The one thing i did notice about myself is that certain things would happen i would cry easy and other times i did not like in a relationship matter. I thought about it for a time and realized something about myself. I realized that my feelings had changed that is y i did not cry. Like being treated badly in a relationship after a while that person cannot make you cry anymore cause you no longer care like you did before. Alot of other factors have to be there for crying and those things were not there if ya get what i mean. Once you notice stuff like that it tells you things about yourself that you did not know before. But something dear to my heart or something in life not working right i cry sometimes i feel better after but i believe if you stop or dont that somehow u are not fully in touch with your feelings or are trying to be stronger than what u are and yes that would lead to health problems.

I understand what you're saying perfectly, kitkat. After crying for the longest time, I don't think there is any more tears left within us. Its a signal that we should move on and not dwell on the past anymore. Thanks for the nice input. :)
