Do you find it offensive when an atheist says God isn't real?

I feel sorry for the person. It is their opinion. I tell them I think they are wrong and leave it at that cause I don't want to start an argument with them. It is hard to change an atheist views cause one of my good friends is one and I have tried.

hey we think of it the same way. We try to tell you guys how you're wrong and leave it at that, but apparently this doesn't really work. Its hard to change a Christians views, and I have lots of Christian friends and I have tried.

no, i do not find it offensive, to each his own. i give people respect on their beliefs.anyway , he does not know that he is in the process believing in a certain force which he cannot understand by talking and dealing with people and all living things. just for your informatiion that an atheist is different form an agnostic.for the benefit of those who does not know.
