ha exams are very important only if we are learning properly.. with the concept and understanding.. it shows the ability and talent of a person.. can prove it over their.. but those who are studying one day before i.e., one day batting then it is waste of keeping exam for those people rite...!!

Exams are very important. They allow instructors to measure how much each person in the class has learned. If the whole class does badly on an exam it is a signal to the instructor that they need to start doing something different to teach the subject better. Exams also show how much attention the student pays in the class. Lazy students will usually not do as well on exams as the people who want to learn.

I'd say yes, but only to test our ability for a short period, cos ost people study basically for exams and after that, most of all the stuff leaves, but overall, exams are necessary.

Too many exam for one subject is not good. One exam for one subject is enough. If test was done almost every week for one subject, it's not good.

I think some exams are important but others aren't. I really don't see the value of being able to regurgitate something for one day if your just going to forget it a week later.

I think we need something to measure our abilities against those of others. I don't really like scantron exams, but I think other exams do a good job of picking out the good students and the weak students. But scantrons mess me up sometimes. I'll know the answers but fill in the wrong bubbles.

absolutely yes.. Examination is the barometer or evaluation if you really learned from the past lessons.

yes... that it is very important and in this way you could check your knowledge and capabilities of your memory and understanding.. without this studying is useless.

I think it is really needed cos it serves as an assessment whether we've learned something in that certain subject and it kind of reflects how good the teacher is and how the students perform. There are students that are only good in oral exams rather than written exams and vice versa, so it's kind of fair for everybody.

i believe it is necessary coz only through exams students can know how good their knowledge on a particular subject is. it can also measure how good a teacher is on their teaching skills..whether it is effective on their students or not. through exams is also where a school can get their reputation of being the best or the worst school.

Yes, I do, and I dont. I know alot of people who are very good in subjects but freeze on tests. So an exam thats worth as much as they are, is really stressfull, and unfair if they fail becuase of an exam mark. But the are also good to test that the student knows what they are doing.

Of course, there will be no organized education system without it. Because of exams, students can be segregated based on their abilities, i.e. entrance exams for colleges, or aptitude test for choosing programs; it can also provide the students motivation to learn because every student wants to get a high grade, and it also guides teachers on how to handle his/her class based on the exam results.
