When you eat different kinds of food. Do you tend to like it more with sauce or gravy or just plain? I do like some sauces and some gravy. But i tend to eat most things Plain. My meats I like plain. Dinners with no sauce or gravy or very light. I know one guy who has to have his food smothered in a sauce or gravy. Just way too much for me.

I suppose it all depends on what the food is. I like sauce or gravy on my steak, and occasionally I pour cheese sauce over my broccoli and cauliflower. I like my meat in curry sauces sometimes, and I eat my pork with apple sauce. I even like pork cooked in cider with apple slices added.
So yes, I like sauces and gravy with some things, but not all. It all depends on what I'm preparing.
Brightest Blessings.

I like gravy with my mashed potatos and sometimes turkey/ham or pot roast. Otherwise though I like most things dry. Fries sometimes either gravy, ranch, ketchup, or dip and sometimes just plain as they are. It just really depends.

I guess eating habits change because always as a child I could never have gravy on my plate, my dad loved it and always offered me gravy and I would go ewwwwwww NO! However now I am much older I like gravy especially on my roast beef dinner which I had on Sunday. I find food like roasts far too dry not to have gravy poured over it, but I hate my potatoes drenched in gravy, only the meat for me!

I guess in this area, I am a minimalist, I like just a little bit of sauces and gravies. Although sometimes if the meat is dry or over cooked, I will use more, just so I can swallow it.
Most sauces and gravies are unhealthy, but that is not the reason I avoid them, I just don't really like them I guess.

HI friend, as i m an indian so i m having a huge variety of foods. some are with gravy, some are without. i generally like the original taste of the dish. i dont wanna mess up the taste by adding gravy to it or making the gravy one plain. i like "pakoras" , which is a dish here and is served with hot coffee or tea, i like them with sauce. hot and spicy.

I prefer to taste things the "original" taste. But then again, it depends on what food. Some food just go better with sauce or gravy. So it depends.

It depends on the food. Pastas i prefer a light sauce or olive oil. Rices I like sauces on too. Potatoes I prefer gravy. I like some meats plain and some with gravy. I tend to prefer lighter sauces.
