SlashmySearch is a scam?

SlashMySearch was started with a great hype. but now it seems that it is also a scam. Many people are complaining that their searches are not getting credited and the site is not paying. i found the site to a very slow earner and the minimum payout is high.
So i started promoting Zotspot, which has no minimum payout and is paying well. i used it very little and had very few referrals but my first payout was $.80. It was credited to my paypal account immediately as i requested. this site has been there for around a year now and i have seen many people being paid by them.

i heard ages ago that this was suppost to be a scam so i stoped using it,then i heard that it was paying some people.i still dont use it as i dont search the internet that much and the pages i go use is saved to my favorites
