I am kind of limited on storage space, so I can't hold onto magazines forever. I only get National Geographic and Metropolitan Home regularly now. If I don't take them apart and keep some articles, in a year or so I donate them to the local libraries. I just started getting a couple of bead & wire jewelry magazines. I tear out the pages I want, and toss the rest. There usually isn't much left by the time I am done! LOL

I am rapidly growing out of my cottage, so have had to reduce my magazines to those dear to my heart. I love Psychologies magazine (and will never part with any of them!), National Geographic, Italia! and Positive Health, plus my professional journals such as International Therapist, Therapist. As we are busy renovating our home I am always picking up new home design magazines such as BBC Good Homes and some of the grander ones, such as Country Living. Space being at a premium, I am getting pretty good at saving the snippets and articles we want, throwing the rest of them in the recycling bin.

Between my husband and I we get about 16 magazines a month. We buy them cheap on Ebay or get them free. I like Weight Watchers, Shape, Natural Health, and Women's Health. My husband likes Countryside, Mother Earth, Men's health, Men's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, and Men's Journal. He collects most of his and rereads, I normally give mine away or recycle them .

I have a lifetime subscription to Rolling Stone. I tend to save a lot of them--usually if they have an interesting article or a someone good on the cover. I also save a few for use for drawing or painting the photos.
