Earlier I answered someones questions about barbarian assault so I thought It might be helpful post that information here. I wasn't pleased with the guides written by some of the gaming sites so I wrote this tip guide for my friends.
Here are some tips and tactics I've found useful when playing the Barbarian Assault minigame.
TIPS
1. Don't start playing the minigame unless your going to be online
for a while. Its very disappointing for a team to get several levels
in a lose a player. This usually causes the whole team to have to
start over since finding new players on that who aren't already on a
team is very difficult.
2. Make sure you read the tutorial before going in. The games
complicated and very difficult if you don't know what your doing.
3. This is a "TEAM" event, you will have to cooperate with the other
players. Make sure you use your horn to allert your teammates to
attack changes as soon as the message changes. Attacking the penance
improperly will cost you damage and points for both yourself and the
team.
4. Make sure your wearing your best armor. This is a safe game so
there's no risk of losing it. If you go in wearing noob gear you
won't be effective for the team and not likely to be picked for one.
5. The mounds with the cannons and great horn are safe spots from all
but the penance rangers. If your injured retreat there and call for a
medic. Its also possible to mage/range from these locations.
6. Level up your penance abilities between levels to make you more
effective during the next round.
7. Defenders do not get penalized for baiting the traps with all 3
baits. Make the trail to the trap using all 3 baits so even if the
style changes the trail still works. Barracading the penence entrance
caves will allow your team to focus their attacks and be much more
effective. A defenders abilitys can make or break a team. Most people
don't use this role well, those that do turn the game into a
slaughter.
Tactics
1. At the start the fighters, collector and defender should charge
out to the penance entrance caves.
2. The defender gathers the logs and hammers and barracides all but
the penance ranger cave on the far left. Healer gets vial and food
ready.
3. Fighters kill the penance rangers, collector gathers the eggs and
loads the hoppers. Healer heals injured team members.
4. The defender gathers more logs and stocks up on bait. Once all
Penance Rangers are destroyed the barracade by the fighters is pulled
down.
5. Fighters kill the penenace fighters , healers keep fighters
healthy, Defender checks and rebuilds baracades as needed and
operates the cannon. Collectors continue to gather and deposit eggs ,
healers heal injuries.
6. Once penance fighters are destroyed the barrier to the penance
healers should be torn down. The healer now poisons the penance
healers as the fighters operate the cannons. Collector continues to
collect and deposit eggs. Defender operates cannons then begins
laying out bait trails as the last of the penance healers die.
7. Defender baits traps and lays food trails to the penance runners
entrance with all 3 baits. The barrier is torn down, all other
players operate the cannons.
8. On the 10th round it is recomended that you have 2 healers in the
group. Destroy the penance as before in other rounds. When the queen
appears the collector gathers her eggs then trades in bulk, 10 or
so , to each of the other players for the ones they've already
completed. The collector then procedes to the next person in order.
The healers will do a tag team both healing the other players and
operating the cannon.
Using these tactics you should have a very sucessful team.
Above all else remember "YOU HAVE TO COMMUNICATE".
If you have any other suggestions or changes I should make please let me know so i can update my groups.

That's a great guide.. The problem that I have with most positions is the calling.. People just simply don't call, and I have to yell for them to call every time it changes.. It's very lengthy and time consuming, and frustrating as well.
Thank you for the guide, though, it's very helpful.

that's a great guide, but i very rarely go to the barbarian assult, i find it too stressfull to be classed as a mini game, i much prefer castle wars where i cun run around and kill all i want without complaints from others...
even pest control is less stressfull than B/A (even if you lose more often than win lol).

i messed around with pc to begin with, trying to find decent worlds by myself, going on the forums looking for people recruiting for certain lvls to play, but it got to be hard work.
recently, i fancied playing it again, so i went into the events part of the official forums and looked around for existing pc clans.
i have managed to join a very good 115+ team that play pc daily from 11 am (gmt). we win every game we play and the games last no more than a minute and a half.
so if you are into pc, and want only good worlds, your best bet is to join a pc only clan (they don't make me attend pk trips or anything).

you sounded very pro in your topic, however, do you have any experience in Danggoth kings fight? you can be in our team if you like to pk high lvl monsters like KQ, Chao ele, KBD and more. We have a team of friends that fight those.
