Bad Hair?

Have you ever gone to the salon or barber and had your haircut come out completely awful?
I guess I'm fortunate, there were a lot of times it didn't come exactly the way I imagined it would, but I pulled it off and it wasn't that bad, but I hear a lot of horror stories.
What was so bad about it?

I have always done okay also but my wife once came back from the beauty shop and only have her hair was cut. When she was at the beauty shop the hair stylist got interrupted several times and my wife was rather tired that day. She discovered it when she got home and started to restyle her hair. When she called back they were not too polite and denied it. They lost her business.

Once I went to a beauty school to get my bangs trimmed. I figured I'd save a few bucks, and since it was only my bangs, it would be simple. They screwed up so bad, cutting them too short,and I looked ridiculous. I had to wear a scarf over my head for months to hide the chop job they did on my bangs. After that, I let my bangs grow out, and I've never had them since. I would like to get my hair cut in long layers, but I'm afraid I would get something stupid looking.
