First Bus Ride..

My daughter didn't ride the bus at first. Her dad was insistant that I take her to school and pick her up everyday...until he started staying at home! HA HA
She wanted to ride the bus like the other kids and he gave in!Do your children like the bus? What was their first bus ride like? How did you feel?

I rode it for the first time in 2nd grade and it was fun. I know I rode it before then going on field trips and such. My mom was really nervous about it but my big brother was on there too. It's a lot of fun when you're little to ride on such a big thing.

DD gets to ride with one of DH's cousins (DH is 31 but cousin is only 13), so DD can have someone with her. She made friends quickly and since we're in the country the bus stops at EVERY house, not at bus stops like what I grew up with.

My hubby refuses to let my daughter ride the bus still. She went on a field trip to the zoo not too long ago and that was the first time that she rode the bus. She loved it of course both daddy and I were a nervous wreck about it.

Aww she looks so cute getting on the bus I don;t have kids but when I babysit my 6 year old nephew I walk him to the bus stop and he is so proud of himself that he rides the bus. They take good care of the kids
