I think that discovery chaneel is one of the channel all over the world.the main thing is that it covers all the fields related to each,all the persons although whatever their working field get beneficial on seeing this channel.the programmes like future vision,beyond the world,under water junk yard are few programes that are very knowledgeable.

in my ugly opinion,there is not a best channel,but the discovry channel is a good channel for many people

First of all I like to tell u that Akshay is also my favorite actor so I like ur choice and than again Discovery channel is also my favorite channel on TV...what a co-incidence yaar... And yes I think it is one of the most popular channel in air liked by most of us... I really show us huge variety of reall shows from wildlife discovery to programmes for mothers and small kids, it is one channel which my parents always adviced me to watch since I was small...it really provide us great knowledge...

My favorites channel(s) are The Learning Channel (TLC), I like all the home shows, Flip this House, House Hunters, Sell this House, but I am also a fan of Bravo, the Women of Orange County is one of my favorites to watch
