Ya I know.I was so upset when I seen that I couldn't get in to the website.I would have cashed out for the first time this morning on dormcheck.Now my money is down the drain.They were supposed to send all of the members emails explaining what happened.Guess what?I never got one.

I am out $16.00 on that lousy dorm check! I was a member and cashed out 5 weeks ago but I never heard a thing nor even got a dime from them! I've been with Mylot for a long time now and they DO pay! They sent me $40.00 in my PayPal acc. so far and very soon, I will get another $10.00 from mylot, so I know they pay and will probably be around for a long time!

Yeah, I never got an e-mail from them either. And I wish I would have. aparently, the e mail explained the whole thing and I would like to see what exactley happened.

I'm out $5 myself. I lost $10 on a site called HyIpHeat too. I hope MyLot doesn't bite it, I'd really be upset cuz I work hard.

you can see the responses, who defended the site and who were victims. there are many other discussions about dc on here if you read some of them, you'll know people already got bad experiences some months ago.

First it happened to Duno, now dormcheck. Fiest of all, you people who try to cheat the system, I hope you see what you're doing. And Mylot, I hope you got a good system in place to prevent this fromhappening to you.

MyLot's harder to cheat because the users police the system by negative rating the posters. Also, you can't cut & paste until you have 500 posts.

From what I understand, the negative rating is suppose to be for inapproriate posts, nothing more nothing less.
Also, who said people cheated? The owner? Please. I think "cheating" is something they make up. After all, they all claim cheating from what I have read.
Seriously, has a site every admitted any other reason for failing? I don't believe all these sites are going down because people are cheating. I think some of them are going down because the owners are getting greedy....instead of paying the members they are paying themselves....bad business management, bad business model, etc. is the reason they are failing.
It is extremely low to blame the people for a site failing. And the reason they blame the members, is they don't want the focus or the blame where it should be, on them (the owners).
Don't turn on one another. Place the blame where it should be, with the owner of these sites. Good-luck all.

Dormcheck was run on a similar premise but it was a copycat of MyLot. It was of much lower quality. It was akin to a sloppy copy of a piece of jewelery.

yeah... I have heard of that too... I have been a member of that site... I just got lucky I was one of the people who asked for a payout just before they decided not to pay other countries... (which includes mine)... to bad... anyhow... I still have mylot... :) good day!

I paid for a gold membership and didn't even get to use it a month. Go figure. I am so tired of being ripped off by these sites. Maybe that is where the money is. Set up a site and become a crook. Only problem is my conscience wouldn't let me do that to people.

I noted this site's different because it's user policed. Positive/negative/abusive ratings by users really effect your rating and your pay.

Since the day it ended its activity with e-gold ,its going downwords, i guess many people have many great expectations with it , but in the end none fulfilled , has any one ever got paid by this one ?
I have made around $6.00 with 7 referrals in dormcheck and didnt took long aswell just my 7th day with them and they stopped payments to international members , perhaps it was their intention to do scamming from the start, just ends up now when so many members upgraded with them.

Any site can be victim to mismanagement. However, by looks of things and apparent quality control, this site doesn't appear mismanaged.

The site is well managed, and those kinds tend to hang around for a while. Still, keep the pay out low as possible so you don't get burnt...sorry, I've been burnt more than once by these crooks.
