are all fastfood junk?

why is it that fastfood connotes junk? i just wonder because as i notice, not all junkfood are just fat and cholesterol. burgers do have lettuce and tomatoes and onions and pickles, which are real veggies. fruit juices are also offered in most fast food stalls. and a recent addition here in one of our local fast food chains are veggie salads. with this, i think that fast food is not generally junk... what d'ya think? post in you opinions...

The overall calories provided by the food is important. Any food giving excessive calories are considered junk food. The veggies in the burger is fine, but it also contribute to the calories. If you satisfy with a vegitable salad and a fruit juice only, its ok. But will we settle for that.
