soul is define as the emotional part of human nature, the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans whereas spirit is define as the principle of conscious life, the incorporeal part of humans. Always relating to supernaturals. :p The difference? Supernatural (spirit related) is mystical to human understanding and we tend to be afraid of their existent around us. We do not relate soul to supernatural as much as spirit so obviously, human tend to fear the spirit more.

mind is a part of the soul. :D because mind is considered to be the emotional part of a human nature. :P The difference is just the word. :)
