cats and dogs????

why r cats and dogs not so friendly to each other... is your dog friendly to cats???do you know why is this so???

Dogs who havent been raised with cats usually see them as not friends, but as prey. Cats who are unfamiliar with dogs are usually afraid of them. Dogs are playful and would like to chase and if your cats run away, this usually excites the dog even more.

Dogs are only friendly to the cats they grew up with. Dogs like to chase after things. I had a dog that killed rats. If you were to keep a dog and a cat and raise them together, the dog will treat the cat as family and vice versa. However that same dog will still chase other cats.
