Does your mood swings from one extreme to another. E.g. you are very happy in the morning... but till evening something unpleasent happens... do you feel put off or in bad mood. Or suppose... you get angry due to any reason..in the morning and after some hours something pleasent happens and you go into a good mood. Does it happen with you? Please share your views and experiences with me.

Yes, some of the time. One day I'm all nice and happy and the next i'm in a mood and sometimes I don't know why that happens. Sometimes little things tick me off and I try to not let it get to me but it does. The worse time is when I get my period - I am a real witch and not a nice person to live with. If I don't get enough sleep, I'm tired and moody the rest of the day. When my hubby and son says something like "why are you angry mom" or "your in a mood today" I stop and think why am I like this and try to change my attitude and be more positive. Sometime it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Thanks dear for your response and frank admission that your mood swings from one exteme to another on a particular day. I think it is normal. I believe ..it happens with everybody....with me also....although the degree may vary. Being a female you are supposed to discharge more functions and duties, irrespective of your physical state of affairs, therefore there is likelihood of change of your mood. Deepak (+) rated.

it happens to me during work, i went to work fresh, then the pressure that my work task made me stress, after work i look like a rug doll.my work task include handling of phone calls, doing report and reporting to supervisor, so my mood swings everytime there is a problem. there is no hours that i did not received a conflict, and i change my temper from relax to stressed. but as the days that you've gone to this experience i had learned to adjust, also to my temper. i know now how to handle things.

grecychunny, thanks for narrating your experience. Pressure of work can effect your mood....and I believe pressure of work and handling multi-tasks at a time can be a telling effect. But since you say you know how to handle it....that is good to know.

I am an extra-ordinary person, always at the extremes. Hence, my mood swing can be to the extremes too. Morning and afternoon is too long a comparision. I could be laughing one minute, and the next second, I can be roaring as loud as the thunder. In worst case, it is only a storm. With my current power, I do not have the capability to wreck a tornado though :P

OMG you have described me very well indeed. I can go from being in a great mood to suddenly being in the worst mood you can imagine. It may be something hubby does or something my son says or even the dogs may annoy me while I am trying to do something & that will set me off. But then I can be in a bad mood & something may happen to change it into a good mood. I like it that way better as I hate being in a bad mood

It is truly said, everything depends on the mood or say as interest to do a particular thing. A particular happening might be result in two different way i.e. one at the time of depressed mood, where we will not be interested to do things seriously or to do with responsibility and other at the time of good mood, where we will enjoy doing things exactly what it to be. bye
