AMERICAN IDOL GIVES BACK! What a terrific show and important charity work!

Did you see this show tonight? Holy cow what a great final 6 we have. There is no one I wish to be voted off this week they were all terrific! of course Jordin Sparks singing "You'll never walk alone" just blew me away !
Ford, Coke, and AT&T gave generously, and for each call/vote they will donate $.10 they equated that to $5 Million dollars going to starving kids in Africa and here in the US. Great causes, great participation. Make sure you vote often ! They are hoping to double it ! so vote vote vote !!!!
But man!!! the top 6 is a force to be reckoned with !

The show was awesome! I loved Melinda and Jordin. I think I voted at least ten times before I couldn't get through anymore. And Mr. Simon Cowell really DOES have a softie side! Just watching him with the children brought tears to my eyes. He really is a kind hearted guy.

I honestly think that was done just to keep all of us guessing. I tried to vote for Jordin over the phone and could never get through. I barely managed to get a few in for Melinda even. The whole show was awesome last night. Just listening to Josh Grobin and the choir gave me goosebumps!

It was a great show and a wonderful charity event. Jordin was fantastic she gave me chills. I feel sorry for LaKeisha she is slowly going downhill. She was again criticized as shouting I think she feels she is losing ground and is trying too hard. I agree with Simon when he said that for him the real competition was now beginning.

Wasn't she amazing!!! I thik she has what it takes to go the whole distance. I have to keep reminding myself that she is only 17! THe show tonight was also a surprise.... NO one goes home tonight but next week 2 go home with combined votes !! GULP and JORDIN was in the bottom 2? WHY???? WHY??? I better vote more this week!!!!

It really was a great show, but I wasn't too keen on the Elvis hologram. Too weird.
I'm not positive (and we deleted the Tivo of the show) but I think Ryan said "in no particular order" when he started the "you are safe" routine. I don't think Jordin was in the bottom two.
And I think they finally said 70 million calls. Wow.

The show was excellent. I am so glad they are doing this charity work. Can't wait to find out how much they will make out of this.

I think I heard 30 Million so far :) isn't that fantastic! what a difference that can make in those lives! Congrats to the IDOL producers for a fantastic marketing idea. You take the TOP rated show in the WORLD and you attach a charity and Wallllllla instant success! I think that is just a terrific idea!
