I would just like to thank all those who have thought of me and said some prayers for me during my recent surgery.
The op was done and i`m on the road to recovery.Home again now and trying to settle back into the normal routine.
I will undoubtably catch up with you all in time .I have appreciated your support and encouragement.

I had been wondering about this one a lot, I am glad to hear that you are fit and back to normal. What does the doctor says , how long before you are totally free and normal. Has it left any scars or its completely gone. Did they do grafting too? I msorry if I sound curious but I was really hoping that you will be all okay and could leave this monor inconvenience back in past here only and move on with no future returns of this dreaded disease.

Thank you Mansha i still have a way to go before i`m back to normal .The surgeon gave me a report that they had removed the cancer but there was bad news also that this wasn`t a good cancer to have and that it will return so looks as though i will be having more work done down the track .But the next time it won`t be so extensive as he is going to keep and eye on it not the local dr here .
I had skin graft and cartliage grafts done they were taken from behind my ear and am finding the donor site much more painful than i ever thought it would .
Hopefully when i see him next there will be minimal scaring it`s really looking good now but still a long way to go .I was so shocked when i first saw it but now am getting use to it .As for now i just want to get on with life and will deal with it when it comes back there is no use worring about it for now . Will catch up again soon thanyou agin for all your kind and encouraging words

Sorry to hear that about this cancer. But I am glad that its over for now atleast. I wish I could fly over to you on this broom and give you a tight hug for pulling through this ordeal with so much strength. I like you for you name here -"hope "and I have seen you have a lot of it in your way of living and dealing with troubles too. Keep it up and I will pray for you each day.

Well it is good to hear that you are back home again hope ... and bad that you had a bad cancer ... seeing a specialist is much better than a local doctor .. the local one might be fine for scratches and bruises ... but generally not good enough for something serious like you have.
You are sounding more positive now ... and that is a bonus .. although no doubt you still have bad times .. remember that sometimes there are good times as well. At least they did catch the cancer before it got too far .. and even if it does come back again .. this time you will all be prepared and ready for it.
Take it easy ... do no more than your body tells you that you can do .. that means you don't rush around trying to be everything to everyone .. or do everything for the whole family etc. It takes time to recover from surgery .. not to mention the shock of knowing what you actually had .. and how it looked.
Hopefully by now some of the transfer site pain will have disappeared .. or be getting a lot less. Good luck to you hope.

Hello Oldboy good to see you too i have missed everyone so much and just have not had the time to come in here that much .Life is certainly busy for me and i don`t get time to sit and just do nothing not with my family .
It`s good the cancer is gone for now it`s such a relief believe me and i have a good surgeon who will keep an eye on it for me so hopefully when it does come back it won`t be as bad as this one .
I still have a problem with the donor site it`s not healing as fast as i would like and still quite a lot of pain but it`s getting there just needs a bit more time.
The day i was travelling back home my youngest decided he needed a job so he went down and applied had and interview and was put to work that night which is great he has plenty of get up and go and it`s been giving him something worth while to fill in his spare time (if you know what i mean with a 15 yr old )

I did not get this discussion in my mail box. Anyway, i am very happy for you. Post op caring is the most critical. Cos if you dont rest properly, there will be problems. So rest as much as you can. Good luck and take care.

Sherinek i had a week in hospital after the surgery and thats about all i can get life out here is just so busy that i have no time to even sit for long let alone rest .But things are going along ok and will heal in time thankyou for your well wishes i appreciate them .

14Missy thankyou i have been so busy since i returned with new animals and neew kiddies to look after there doesn`t seem to be much time for anything else .I have pinched a few minutes to come in here while the little fellow is watching a bit of tv .I have missed chatting to everyone and just need a little time to myself and this is a good a place as any to spend it in .Will message you soon i have a couple of questions you might be able to answer for me.Sadly i have lost two joeys in the past week and have another new one ,am looking after three children under two so life has been busy once again .Take care will chat soon .

Thanks for the spell it must of worked as i am feeling as well as can be expected .Life is back to the usual .
The weather here has started to cool here so i imagine your home has started to warm up again which will be wonderful for you .
I have had so many run ins with a certain child already since i returned but think that thats how it`s always going to be so will just have to live with it .

I'm glad things are looking up for you,yes,the weather is beginning to warm up some,now for the rainy part of the season,wish I could send some of it your way,but I much rather have the rain than that ugly white stuff.lol
If that certain someone causes to many problems,send her here,I'll take the moodyness out of her.lol

Lovemycats it`s great to be back even though i don`t find much time to get in here that often i do enjoy it when i can .
Hubby got another job here one that pays well(eventhough not as well as the one over there ) but the new one here wasn`t as demanding and he is happy here so it`s great and really i`m so relieved .
The op went well and life is back to normal ( as normal as my life will ever be ).
So wonderful to be here with friends again i have missed everyone .
