Kaboom Neverscrub: Has anybody used this?

I just got this advertisement in my email that is more or less for spam. For those of you who live in North America, is this product real? I live with three men that don't really understand the concept of getting their urine into the toilet bowl. They consider the 'toilet area', which seems to be a space of about 4 square feet, to be close enough. If there is anything I could get ahold of to cut down on the bathroom's barn yard smell and appearance, beyond banning them, I am all for it! So,opinions on this product? Is it real? Any other suggestions? This is what it said: The Kaboom NeverScrub Continuous Toilet Cleaning System tucks easily out of sight within your toilet tank to provide constant cleaning action for up to 3 MONTHS! Throw away your dingy scrub brush, the powerful Kaboom cleaning formula fights hard water, rust, and grime every time you flush. What about hard-to-reach places? Kaboom NeverScrub cleans completely, penetrating even those stubborn stains that attach under the rim. It's easy to install. It won't harm tank parts. It saves you from the dirty work! We ship directly to your door. But hurry, offer is only valid while our supplies last!

I used Kaboom to clean the green stuff and rust from my pennies. It didn't clean too well. I also used it to clean the sink. leaves it sparkling clean.

Just a sidebar, but because of what has been written in this discussion, it has been linked with a single 'similar discussion', something to do with energy drinks. Can you imagine if someone drank this stuff? Yikes!

I've never used the Kaboom NeverScrub Continuous Toilet Cleaning System, but I'v tried the bathroom cleaner for cleaning my shower. It works very well, and is one of the best cleaners I've ever tried. I've got very hard water, with iron and lime, and it's hard to keep up with trying to keep the brown rusty stains off of my bathroom fixtures. Kaboom is easy to use, with very little scrubbing involved.

I've gt similar water to yours and limescale is a real pain. Nothing I have tried in terms of drop in the bowl products makes the slightest difference.

My toilets get so bad when we run out of water softener, that I have to drain the water out of the bowls and scrub by hand with comet and somethimes I have to do it twice, letting it sit awhile. That's the most effective, cheapest way, but I hate getting that close face down to the toilet.

Ack, me too, especially since I am not just facing the toilet, but the toilet area. I ask you, how hard can it really be to get your pee into the toilet, and if it really tha challenging, why don't they just sit down. Hmn. Perhaps a new house rule needs to be devised!
