How old should a girl be before she is allowed to date and wear make-up?

This is mainly a personal feeling that the parent(s) should discuss. As for me, I was 16 before I was allowed to go on an actual "date". I had b/f's before that but only saw them at school.

I was allowed to go to the mall with my "girl" friends. We lived 30 mins from the closest mall when I was growing up so my Mom always went with me and we just had meeting times and places.

at least 16...my mom didn't allow us until our senior year in high school and that was only for the prom.

Thanx. My daughter thinks I'm too strict. But I was around 15 or 16. It kept me out of situations I wasn't mature enough for.
