How do you show your support for the troops ? My son is with the 82nd Airborne and we send off letters and packages to the troops on a regular basis . I also blog about ways to support them over at my blog and provide an address to send packages too as well .

Wow! The 82nd airborne! You must be awfully proud!I send cards and letters too. I usually send stuff though "Friends of our Troops". I just found adopt a soldier. There is something I would like to do for the wounded soldiers but i want to get permission first. the other things I do is continually defend them and bring attention to their plight.I have contacted the media when they are so quick to air or print pieces of "rogue soldiers" but are slow to report on any deaths or medals awarded. I am very protective of my troopies. Please tell your son he is my "American Idol" as are all the troops.I love them all!

That's the spirit I like to see ! Being a an Army vet myself , I know how important those letters and care packages are . I thank you for being a true American and showing your appreciation to the troops in their time of need.
