Which fonts are best for on-screen reading?

This question is not "what is the coolest font", but which font works best for reading text of any size on the computer screen. Only fonts pre-installed on a majority of computers - Mac and Windows - should be included in the answers.

I like book antiqua and also palatino. They are better for my eyes while reading on-screen. Yes, they are the coolest fonts for me.

Yes, book antiqua is definitely good font to read with ease.

hi im a web dsnr most of the times i used tahoma, but verdana is also good for me. u can make ur fonts more beautiful by providing them some styles.
