should the bird and the bees be taught in school

I went to an All Girl's school so we had to teach it to girls only. But yes, if they do teach it in the school, and gets the word spread around, teen pregnancy would happen a lot less (for those parents who don't give these talks to their children)

In our school system they teach it in 5th grade and they seperate the boys and the girls. At first I was very concerned that they were teaching this to my kids! I decided to tell them about it before they took the classes in school so they would have the knowledge that my husband and I feel is important for them to know. If they don't teach it in school, the kids will learn it on the school bus or some other way. It is best that they learn the facts from the school and their parents rather than the nonsense from their friends.
