Any stories from new home buyers?

I'm thinking about buying a house. I'm actually blogging about my struggle to save for a downpayment. Anyway, does anyone have any advice for first time homebuyers? Or does anyone have any good stories about buying a house/condo/etc?

a way that u can get around the down payment is to find a seller who will pay your closing cost...most lender's will accept up to 6% seller concessions on closing cost help. you can also go to www.naca.vom or gov andthey offer closing cost assist as long as u stay in there program..you may also want to try hud they offer fha, and va loan as to where u only have to put down 3%....where are u buying at?
