When you want to break up with your partner....

Would you want to do it personally? Or would you prefer to do it by writing him/her a letter or by telling him/her over the phone? Or will you ask for a common friend to do it for you? As to my past relationships, I have not tried breaking up with someone personally. It's either I'm gonna say it through phone or through letters. I don't have the guts to tell it in person simply because I don't wanna see my partner cry in front of me. I am not that gutsy too because if I only can be able to hold on to, so why break up right? :) Do you also do the same way? Or do you have any other style of doing it aside from the choices I have mentioned above? :)

I suggest that you do it personally. It is a serious matter that needs to be tackle.By doing this, maybe you can still save your relationship.

That's what my friends used to tell me...that I should do it personally, but really, I haven't tried one. Maybe, if my present boyfriend and I would break up, I hope I can do it personally. But I'd still hope he's already the one. I love him so much that I can't afford to let him go yet. :)

I do wonder why do you break up with that person? I've only broken up with a person after discussing the problems and not getting any solutions. I've certainly didn't have anyone cry infront of me. I'm sure that its because they know too that its hopeless to go on after we both tried to make it work. Break ups should be done personally. Be and adult for once and do it face to face. It shows maturity and the fact that you are a responsible person. I have one breakup. He was working to much. I told him my needs and try to make some suggestions. I'm not talking about quitting your job or running out of meetings. I'm talking about emailing or texting or short phone calls just to keep in touch. Needly to say it fell on deaf ears and I ended up feeling it was a one sided relationship. I did give him some months to make a change. In the end I told him face to face its not going to work because there is no quality time.

I think if i will be given a chance to break up with a guy- i will just leave without a trace... Just go away... without him knowing, i can't stand goodbyes... it's not that i don't wanna see the person cry-i just don't want that person to see ME cry.. =(
