How old were you we you got married?

I was just twenty-four when I got married. Not too young but still young. Most people nowadays get married in their thirties. I must say I was prepared when I got married, but I must admit that I didn't have that much money. I could have afforded a simple wedding but both our parents wanted a grand wedding since it was the first from both sides. I was the eldest and my wife is the youngest, a perfect match they say. So how old were you when you got married? Did you pay for the Wedding? Do you live in your own house or you still rent? Do you have kids?

Why not? I don't think marriage is complete without kids. Beleive me, having kids will bring out the worst and best in both of you. You get to know each other more and life will be more colorful!

i was just turning 23then when i got married, but in my marriage contract i was just 22, and my husband is 25, i can say that its a perfect gap for us, my husband is mature enough to understand my foolishness, we didnt spent a lot for that its just a civil wedding, though my husband has a stable job, i can say that we are not prepared, but anyway i dont have any regret, coz today we have a 5yr old son and living in our owned house.. we still have many more plans these includes a plan of investing a new house again.. God bless us..

I was 20 when we got married, he was 24. My mother-in-law had her own flower shop, so she did most of the decorating herself, the only thing we really had to pay for was the church, preacher, piano player, and my dress of course. I think my mom paid like $50 on my $800 dress, but I paid the rest and I ended up paying for our pictures, they were $300 something. Right now we still rent b/c we are military and we are not going to buy anything until he retires b/c we will be moving around a lot. We have a 3, almost 4 year old in June, little girl. We been trying for another one now for over a year but nothing yet.

My wife was also twenty when we got married. We now have a two-month old daughter. It seems ike we have some things in common. We also rent an apartment since we live in a city where real estate is very expensive. I plan to buy a house in my hometown and settle there maybe ten-fifteen years from now.

i was 26 when i got married and my hubby was 29. i'd say it was the right age mainly because we were both ready. we paid for our own wedding (the bulk of it, at least. my in-laws contributed a little). we're renting and we have a 2 yr old daughter.

I was 26, my husband 33. We pay our wedding ourself, and we still rent a house. We don't have kid yet.

i got married when i was 23 actually 10 days before my 23rd bday, that's why in my marriage contract i was only 22 then, though i can say that i'm too young and maybe not prepared too, but in my today's situation i can say that i dont have any regret, i have my son a wonderful son and a very supportive and loving husband though it's just a civil wedding (of course not my dream wedding) but in my situation i dont wanna dream for a very expensive wedding if after 1 year or 2 your marriage is on the rock

i was 27 when i got married, my hubby is older but the perfect man for me... we are both mature, had a simple wedding, and had the best of our lives together... up to now... no regrets.. i guess maturity is important, coz you already know what living truly is.
