Best Place You've Ever Been to

Out of the all the places you have gone to and visited in your whole life thus far, which has been your favorite and why? Please tell us a bit about it and if you can please share a picture too.
There are two places I think of right off and don't think I could choose between them.
I love the Oregon Coast because well I just love the ocean and love that area of it...its so beautiful and smells wonderful and there is just a ton of things you can do.
Second on my list would be New Orleans. There is such deep history there and I just don't think you can absorb it enough.

I'm not sure if this is the overall best, but it is for sure the latest favorite, I hope that counts :)
In October we took a trip to the Grand Canyon, and a side trip to Sedona, AZ. Simply Breath Taking !!!
The Grand Canyon is awe inspiring.
And I told my husband I want to retire in Sedona, but I'm pretty sure we'd have to live in a travel trailer there LOL (it's expensive).
I'm already wanting to go back !

The Grand Canyon is on the list of places I want to visit.

My favorite place is Bermuda. It is pure happiness for me. I have been there 5 times and can not wait until I can return

I would definitely have to say Honolulu, Hawaii is the best place that I have ever been to. It has been a while since my last trip there but it was the most beautiful place. The people there are very friendly, the beaches are the best, the water is great and there is a lot to see and do there. It is like being in heaven. I hope to go there again and see more. It is expensive to go there and live there but it was definitely worth it.

The best place I have ever been is West Palm Beach.
And actually, my old avatar was a picture of me there. :)
My sister that lives there took that picture for me.
It is a beautiful place with crystal clear blue water, sea shells in plenty, and not over crowded. It is just very peaceful. :)

There is a little eclectic area right on the ocean front near Gloucester Massachusetts called Rockport. We used to visit my cousins in Gloucester often and I would spend countless hours just walking the streets of this little picturesque town. Made up of artists and fishermen, it was touristy in the summer but when winter came the regulars remained but with a lot less tourists. I loved going there. It was simply peaceful. And my fondest memory there was this little diner type place at the end of a pier. Nobody knew it was worth going to unless you visited often. Tourists went to the classier "Inn" and other restaurants nearby, ignoring this little hole in the wall place. But the locals all loved it and knew that you got the best food ever there and for decent prices.
