So for those of you that play Second Life online...can you tell me does it get better? I just started playing today and I just find it very jumpy and not worth my time cause it annoys me so much. It seems like I'd like it, but I am just wondering what I can do to get rid of the jumpiness and slowness of it? What do you like about the game?

I hear of the second life for a long time. And I know someone really did a good job there even made a large number of real money! I've tried once that, but it seems doesn't work well on my laptop. When first log in, it's like flying all the time in a dark, I just can not fly out of it. I stayed about 1 hour still did nothing. I gave up. I don't think I am stupid on games because I did others games well! Maybe the game is not my style.

It seems to get a bit better each time I log back in. Its still a bit cloggy, which annoys me. I much perfer the regular Sims Online though and am so tempted to pay for that again

I tried to install and play that as well. I think my computer needs to be upgraded before i can play. The screen was jumpy and choppy and it took forever to load, and then sometimes it would crash too! I was really looking forward to trying it too! i seen it on a news brodcast on tv before i had the internet. I was dissapointed that i couldnt play, but maybe someday i will be able to afford to upgrade me pc and then i'll play!

Thats the way it is with mine right now too, and I know my computer is fast enough. Its just really annoying to get in there and it take forever to do anything.

I played Second Life for a short period of time. It was not something that I was enjoying much. Some people really get into it. Why, is beyond me.

I haven't tried Sims. My daughter used to do Sims and got pretty engrossed in it. I truly don't think I am cut out for these types of games.

i like the game and own property in there. My husband has a business and he builds in there. I like to buy property and then sell it later on for a profit or trade for a different location. The big thing we love in there are the trivia games.

i do the paid version but you dont have to. You can still play the games but if you want to buy property then you will have to be a paid member. You can then build a house and decorate it and then furnish it ect. you can sell what you build there and earn lindens as well. The lindens do exchange to dollars and you can earn in there.
