What's in Singapore that people want to go there? Go there for a vacation. Be employed in Singapore. I haven't been to Singapore, and I am so curious what's there that enchants people of different races to be there!

i think it's a good palce to visit, but not the pretty place to settle down. for there are a lot of limitations and severly punishment which many guys can't stand. i am indulging into the beatiful sight of the singapore.and i think i will go to that palce sooner or later.

So how was your shopping experience? For how long you've been shopping in SG? Was it really worth it?

I live in Singapore. I often wonder why, people from neighboring countries come to Singapore for SHOPPING??? The exchange rate alone is NOT favorable! Yet drones of people come to spend their hard earned money enjoying life in Singapore. Singapore is definitely NOT a shopping paradise to me. It is a FOOD HEAVEN!!!!!!! Food glorius food is the order of the day when you are in Singapore. Anykind, anything, anywhere, anytime!! Greek food, Russian food, Spanish, Italian, Indonesian, Brazillian, etc... It is the doorway of international cuisine. Having said that, you would have WASTED your trip to Singapore if you did not eat at hawker centres or food courts. Want to know what they are? Come to Singapore and find out. You will never regret it! - Lyn

May come to Singapore to shop.Other than that reason, singapore employ many people from other countries who dont have work. Its not that Singapore got no workers but to be more productive we need lots of outsiders to help and build up this country. Its difficult to get work in other country and singapore do help some of them like the bangladesh.

Well, that really depends on the kind of interests you have. In a small country like Singapore, sceneries are the last thing you would want to look for in our city. But if you like to spend time away from home in a country that provides you with good conveniences and creature comforts of life, then Singapore is definitely the place for you. With easy accesses to shopping centers, internet at cafes and wi-fi spots, lots of cinemas and game centers, pubs and discos for the night owls, shopping sales for those seeking retail therapy, beaches for those who want to see some water action, parks for nature lovers and lots of food spots for those who would want to try food from various cultures... from western foods to Indian curries to Malay delicacies to Chinese cuisines, or simply a fusion of all the above... there is something to satisfy everyone's palate and appetite! The relatively safe environment and secure economy is also a great draw to people who intends to set up their businesses here to cater to the region. With the up coming attractions that is going to be bundled with the opening of the casino resort in Marina, there is going to be even more things to explore and see and spend on!
