Are photos low payers?

At least you got $0.05 for 5 images. Sometimes I post a lot of pictures like more or less 5 images and I only get $0.01, the most is $0.02. I really think that the payout in the photos are so small. I have a very slow internet connection. I feel that I am wasting my time uploading pictures.

i recently get to know that mylot pays you for uploading pictures...but since my connection is very slow i have not started loading pictures here...yesterday i did uploaded some and i got .01$ for them...

I have posted many pictures here on mylot. I found that if you post them in the CORRECT interest groups image catalog you earn more. Also just as with discussions you start you earn more for a more descriptive photo upload. You earn more for describing the photo with more than just one line of a few words. I have posted 25 photos and have gotten as much as 55 cents for them. I try to take my camera with me taking photos of a lot of my daily chores etc for posting here. Also you don't earn much for internet photos or clipart pictures. Another trick I learned by trial and error. So good luck with the photos in the future. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I dont think that pictures worth less than a respond as i have uploaded so many pictures even with bad quality as they were of some rare thing very old but did got two cents for every upload, i guess you missed the description right, as the picture itself will only gives you one cent and the other cent you have to earn by your good description of the picture , without descript picture will worth less so try to give atleast 3-4 lines description for every picture and you'll see the difference as i have been writing from 2-6 lines descriptions for the pictures i uploaded,hopefully it will help you out.

I've uploaded two images so far and I also got one cent, each. I think it's too low, so I keep on focusing on text posts.
