How do you get rid of the loose skin ? I gained a lot of weight while i was preg, i went from 115 to 170. Now i haven't lost it all but i lost quite a bit of it, and i'm left with a lot of stretch marks and loose skin, on my legs. My stomach went almost back to normal, but my legs, the top part.. is bad. Will it ever go back or at least shrink up a bit ? And will the stretch marks go away ? my hubby says they are not that bad, but i think it looks weird. I guess it doesn't bother me TOO much, as i'm not the shallow type, but i Still dont like it! Anyone got any tips or hints ?

Hey jeweledbluerose, I went ot the links and downloaded the free demo e-book Maybe since i am losing weight it will be a big help for me. I usually do the Richard Simmons toning tapes but everylittle bit helps I guess. I was told to only lose 2-3 pounds a week no more because then it gives your body time to shrink back into shape but that is really impossible if you had a baby because alot of the weight comes off pretty fast. with a few leftover exceptions. my niece still cannot get ride of her belly fat from her pregnacy but I know it can happen because I have seen all these skinny slim woman with a child if not more. well I wanted to thank you for posting the links. Thanks:P)

Ive done everything and it just doesnt go away specially if you have stretch marks.. I have just learnt to deal with it and realise that its just another joy of motherhood.. I hope someone has a fantastic answer that really works cause Id be willing to give just anything a go.. Fingers Crossed someone has the answer..

They are some lotions out their that say they lighten or fade stretch marks palmers cocoa butter is good. Avon also has some but it is more costly, but it works my niece had a baby and I bought her a couple tubes while it was on sale and it worked for her not sure about everyone else though. I would suggest a stroller and walking gear and walk it might tone your legs and tighten your skin also a stationary bike mihgt also help. They also have skin forming lotions from jergens that might be of some use. I would invest in a toneing workout video and it just might be the ticket for you. When I lose weight that is what I do. Richard Simmons has a few good ones that work wonders. Well hope something helped,If it didn't them I hope somone post something that will.

Really the only way to deal with "excess skin" is to tone it up with exercise. I do believe that with time it tends to go back a bit on its own also but the reality is, you have to tone it back up. As for the stretch marks, while it seems forever and they never go completely away, they do get much less noticeable.
