Can you tell me about a few MOVIES Please.....

I need some opinions on a few movies I am interested in purchasing, please if you have seen the movie I would like to know more of it
1. Da Vinci Code
2. Borat
3. Pursuit of Happiness
4. Happy Feet
5. Bridge to Terabithia
6. Any of the Horrorfest Movies
7. Crank
8. Snakes on a Plane

If I were you, I could check out http://www.imdb.com/ and http://www.rottentomatoes.com/ both of those sites have a huge database of movies with reviews for them, so you can read literally dozens of review on each movie before making up your mind. Hope that helps.

of the 8 movies you have listed, I've only watch "snakes on a plane". And if you are thinking to buy a DVD (i'm assuming you are), then my opinion is this movie is not worth it.
Given a choice, I would spend my money on movie 1, 2 & 3. Particularly #3 "Pursuit of Happiness", Will Smith was nominated for best actor in the Oscars.
Another 2 movies I would recommend to add to your DVD library would be "Blood Diamond" and "The Departed", both starring Leonardo Dicarprio (no, I'm not a fan), and both also nominated for some Oscars category which I can't remember now.

I do have the Departed (great movie) and have ordered Blood Diamond, i have heard that number 3 is a great movie so i will probably be getting that one next.

number 3??? Do you mean number 23 by Jim Carrey?
I've actually catch that movie in the cinema, and I would say it is a mediocre movie by Jim arrey's standard. Maybe to the audience, he will forever live in our mind as the great comedian, unable to break out from that mold and move into acting serious role.

I think in all i like Da vinci code bcause it is very suspence and thriller and not yet all regular movie!

1) If you have already read the book I wouldn't recommend you to see the movie. Of course you can see but for me it was a little bit disappointing, I was expecting a little bit more of it.
2) It was great but honestly I prefer another type of movies. I guess you will like though.
The others I want to see but I don't have time for it now.
