What is your ancestry?

Who do you consider your people? Some people have many ancestors from different countries but feel most strongly tied to one in particular. Mine is Scottish, which is the smallest part of my ancestry. Yet I have always felt strangely drawn to it.

I don't live far from Scotland and it is a lovely part of Britain. I haven't been there however which is making me feel guilty now I have admitted it. I might take a trip this summer. My mum and dad both came from Yorkshire, which is even closer to Scotland than I am in Lancashire. I have always love Yorkshire and have spent lots of holidays there. They came from North Yorkshire and if you ever come over to visit Scotland I hope you get chance to visit the Yorkshire Dales. Mainly Wensleydale, Leyburn and Redmire. You will love it.
