For Caucasians --- I have a sincere question

I am very light caucasian and also have Freckles! If I wear shorts or a skirt I want my legs and arms tanned I think it looks So pretty!! Who wants to see ghost white leggs in shorts? I have to use fake creams to get tan because I burn and freckle really bad. Why do I like tanned skin? It looks very healthy and glows.

This is definetly a cultural thing. A lot of cultures equate lighter skins as being more attractive, and darker skin being less attractive. Most caucasians feel that a tanned, bronzed look is more attractive and healthier looking than a pale white skin tone.
