I have an email which explains quite reliably the various facts that prove that the landing was fake. But its a long shot to call.Besides how can i be sure that the email itself is genuine or not.So for now I believe It was the truth

it's truly difficult to know who is to believe and who we should not believe in. for as long as we gained lessons from everything there is, i guess there's no so much reason to waste time in finding out if it's real or not. anyway, it will not change much at all i guess.

i have seen the documentary about it saying that armstrong did not really land on the moon. watched it like some months ago. as for me, i don't really care if it is true or not. what i know is, it started giving people hopes. not hopes of getting to the moon... but hopes knowing that we can reach the impossibles. that there is nothing really nothing we can't do if we wanna do something. for me, it's not the physical landing on the moon lessons we get from that... it's the inner reflection we see behind that landing on the moon scene and event. there is something magical about it... something which has awaken our systems into dreaming more and doing our best to make our dreams come true. happy myLotting!

The only people to know if he went to the moon would be him and Nasa. But I still think he did go to the moon. I mean lauching a shuttle with no one in it is a waste of alot of money, so that's why I think he did go to the moon. So there's only one answer to find out get more film from Nasa and see if he really went to the moon.

That opinion has been going around for decades, I am sure. Besides the documentary, there is at least one book I know of that describe why it couldn't have happened: 'Dark Moon: Apollo and the Whistle-Blowers' , and the movie, 'What Happened on the Moon?'. Was that the documentary you saw? I guess there are supposed to be a number of anomolies on the film which support the hoax theory, such as, Some of the lighting on 'official NASA film' are very suspect. The NASA picture to the left should show the astronaut in complete shadow because the sun is behind him, and yet the whole of the astronaut is caught in bright light? The shot should appear like the one on the right which was simulated by David Percy. Personally, I am with your boyfriend. I think the conspiracy theorists are full of crap!

I don't know what to say because I saw that documentary and they proved that Armstrong has not the first men on the moon and all the pictures where fake . I have my doubt about this but Armstrong changed the history with his achievement and everyone learns at school about him being the first men on the moon . So if it's fraud then all of us had been tricked .

There are alot of theorys going on about this. They saw for an example that there is no wind blowing on the moon, still the american flag was moving like it had been. Noone will ever know for sure what happened and I guess it is just better to leave it like that =)

I believe Armstrong walked on the moon mostly because of human nature. After all these years someone would have leaked the truth. There would have had to been too many people involved and people don't keep their mouths shut about these kinds of things. Someone would have blackmailed someone or wrote a book about it.

Plus, I think if it were a fake it seems that the rocket scientists or photographers would have gotten the lighting right.

I believe it was real. Afterall, I watched it live on TV and we all know that TV never lies..lol. Even if it was a total fake, it sure seemed real. It doesn't really matter now. With all the newer technology, it is only a matter of time before they fake a landing on Mars...lol.

Personally that Armstrong was the first to have stepped feet on the moon, but my knowledge is purely based on what I read and I took it at facevalue because I never thought such a mission could be fakes.I haven't read the conspiracy theories in any detail or watched the documentary you mentioned, but seems like everyone has been questioning the veracity of the project eversince these conspiracy theories surfaced.I would like to read them myself before I can make up my mind. For now I still believe it to be true.

I don't think Armstrong made it to the moon.It is because the technology by that time is not as advance as they could have.He was creating story just to leave history and glamour for himself..God will know.

you know,i'm honestly not too sure anymore! LOL i wouldn't put it past the government if it was staged, which is one big reason i'm unsure.. i wish if they could, they'd go back to prove they can or cannot.

My boyfriend saw that documentary to and was telling me about it. Its hard becuase there is so much evidence that proves it IS fake, and alot of reasons also that it is true. Its a big part of history though, so everyone desparately wants to believe its true, because if proved its a fake, then it will make us question how else we have been decieved.

Those who make documentaries and write books are very clever people and the change in peoples mind shows their ability to motivate. The earliest people who rejected the Moon landing were religious nuts, who thought that the Moon was a heavenly symbol. But later a story spread that Neil Armstrong on hearing the call for prayers on the Moon converted to Islam after hearing the same sound from an Egyptian Mosque. I was a keen follower of the Moon Landing and in fact I am so proud to say that Sri Lanka being small, one of our Professor, Cyril Ponnamperuma was chosen to test the Moon Rocks. There were 6 Moon landings from Apollo 11 to 17. Apollo 13 was not successful and had to return due to engine trouble. So are all these fakes, or is it the first one that was fake. After over 30 years it is very easy to call something a fake.

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong stepped out of a thin oddly shaped box and into history. That box was the Apollo 11 Lunar Module, which Edwin Eugene "Buzz" Aldrin, Jr. had piloted to the surface of the moon. As Neil Armstrong made that final step from the Lunar Lander ladder, becoming the first man to step on the moon, he uttered that famous phrase, "That's one small step for (a) man; one giant leap for mankind." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I copied this from a web site and describes very well what happened. At the time Neil stepped onto the moon the entire nation was watching on TV. I watched this event, even though it was very late at night. It was such an historic event. Had this been the only time man stepped on the moon it could be said it was staged. It was a very surreal event to watch. It was not fake. It was real and you had to be there to know it. And it was only the first of many lunar landings.

I firmly believe that Armstrong did land in the moon. Those crap conspiracy theories were just that: theory! And nothing else to proved! In Anerica, even though it is a nation of technology and modern gadgets, there are so many people who are fond of making conspiracy theories. It is sometimes too much to bear. Anyway, I had also seen the documentary questioning the landing on the moon. But it failed in a lot of aspects.

Armstrong did go to the moon. The reason many people think it is a fraud is because the video is a fake. Most, if not all the discrepancies come from the video (flag waving in the wind, shadows, gravity etc.). There is no doubt that they actually went to the moon, but the video itself was not taken on the moon. That's my opinion anyhow - I read the details somewhere but I forget where.

I wish I'd seen that documentary. I think he did walk on the moon. It would have taken a lot of people to be in on the comspiracy. If it didn't really happen, I don't think they'd all be able to have kept quiet about it for so long.
