what is meaning of our life

I have one bemusement these days,that is :what is the meaning of our life?Everybody will die in the end ,so what he has done in his life is totally meaningless,because he will lose all of this when he died.I don't know why I have such horrible opinion,can you help me to solve it,thanks very much.

Sometimes I also have this question haunted in my mind.I studied hard everyday reciting boring text, just wanting to getting a hign degree and earning more money.Life is too short,i donnt wanna to waste my youth in those boring things,but i have no choice but to accept it and go on.
As you said we would lose all of the things when the day comes,why people all working so hard? Life isn't meaning less, purposeless, we need a motivation to push us go on and have the reponsibility to protect our loved ones from hurt. Although sometimes we may feel imcompetent, lonely and helpless, these negative feelings are not consisted of all the aspects of life.

I think people work very hard and study very hard because they want the rewards so bad. But i also think people find themselves working and studying in places that they didn't plan for and its not how they wanted. For example with my i should have taken a year off before entering university so i would be more focused.. it seems like your saying the meaning of life is to keep on truckin' is that right?
