Awkward stage

I think we all have this --- the awkward stage in our lives when we didn't know what to do with our hair, we had pimples, we couldn't figure out what our style should be, with whom we should hang out, what clique should we belong to...Personally, I think my awkward stage/phase started during my first year in high school. I felt lost at that time. What about you? When was this awkward stage of yours and why do you say that it was so?
