Have you ever talked to yourself in front of a mirror?

I can't recall the title of this movie, but there was this one scene where Robert de Niro was in front of a mirror and he was asking himself "Are you talking to me?" There are times when I pass by the big mirror next to our bedroom door and I would pretend to be him and talk to myself. And if ever there was somebody looking at me, they might think I am going out of my mind.
Sometimes, I talk to the mirror in the bathroom asking myself if the one I am seeing is the same one I saw yesterday or two weeks before. There are times when I talk to myself seriously and there are times that I even joke with myself. Is that weird or just being silly?

Yes!I was alone,and i told myself that i was not single,i couraged myself!I can do everything,i am a strong people!i am not alone!Like that i have confidence!

i talk to myself in the mirror, too. even when i was still a child. i don't think that there is anything wrong with it. besides, i also talk to myself when i am alone. even if there is no mirror. we call that action as talking to oneself or thinking aloud. it is really a common thing that people are doing.

They say talking to oneself is the first sign of madness, so I think I'm well and truly there. I talk to myself in front of the mirror, when I'm working out in the shed, when I'm cooking, just whenever actually. I guess the advantages of doing it in front of the mirror is the other guy speaks back!!

Hi piropos. I have spoken to myself in the mirror plenty of times lol. May sound crazy but when your affirming positiveness its all good. I dont however act out a part in the mirror or rehearse my speech or date lol. Just positive affirmations and mirror work for myself...

I have done this when practicing a speech that I had to give. There is nothing more critical than watching yourself talk ... I have overcome many idosyncracies (sp?) doing that. A coupld of them were the overused..

I used talk myself infront of a mirror and mostly I play tricks with my face too. sometimes I dance and make brilliant pose.

Well in fact I have done this before I do not know why we do this but sometimes I find myself doing this and asking myself whether I look good enough to go out the way that I am dressed or something similar I don't think this is weird or silly I think that if a lot more people admitted the truth that they would say they do this also.
