Ann Coulter: Is she serious?

Love or hater her, Ann Coulter always has something to say that surely will catch a person's attention one way or the other.
From a recent article by her:
"The worst thing most nuts do is irritate everybody else by driving their electric cars on the highway."
What's up with this? Is she really against conserving fossil fuels? Does she want to destroy the planet?
How about this comment of hers concerning the mentally ill not being allowed to own guns and exercise 2d admendment rights:
"In fact, I think we should expand the mental illness exception to cover First Amendment rights as well as Second Amendment rights."
Can she really mean this stuff?

I can't stand Ann Coulter and this just reaffirms my feelings for her. I think if anyone needs a mental health exam it's her. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't believe half the garbage she spews out of her mouth, she's just looking for the paycheck that shock value provides.

I wonder this about Ann Coulter myself. What I'd really like to see is for her to post at myLot. At last someone would get a lower star rating than myself!

soccermom, well you did earn the best response. As to my star, I'm pretty certain I've earned the wrath of several different groups of narrow minded passive aggressive nameless cowardly people who can not defend their disagreement with me in writing so they resort to the only tactic left available to them.
The result of these nameless coward's efforts is that I seek to continue to produce as fine of posts as I possibly can so as to make whoever rates me badly look foolish.
