Are We meant for The Gadgets or The Gadgets are meant for Us ?

I have come across many people who are extra careful about their belongings like their Vehicles and Gadgets. They want their gadgets neat and clean them after them every time and keep them neat and clean as if they are just brought from Show room! Some people even don’t bother to remove the plastic Seat covers of their Car seats! Taking care of the gadgets like Refrigerators, Vacuum Cleaners, TV sets, CD players etc. is fine! But being after them every time in the name of maintenance and keeping them in the packing in which they come from the company or keeping them covered, makes me to think whether we are made for the gadgets or the gadgets are made for us? Your Opinion please! Your views will be highly appreciated on this topic! Thanks!

Yeah i do know few people those who take extra care of their gadgets, living in my surroundings. Those who don't even remove the plastic covers on the seats of their cars sound weird to me. We need to take care of the gadgets but not extra care. Since we invest money on those gadgets we need to take care of them.
I do take care of them but not like removing those covers and not allowing others to occupy the seats. I know they behave weird and they will be behaving in such a way that we might spoil the car when we are along with them.

Thanks dear friend for your discusiion! Isn't it some thing really strage people becoming slaves to gadgets and serving them instyaed of getting service from them!
Well like you said I agree and I do follow, to maintain our gadgets and keep them up to the mark so that they can be of help in case when needed ! Otherwise the total purpose of investing on them gets defeated!
