I have no real family I was left on the back door step of the San Antonio Police department in 1962 Texas. I was adopted but now that I have developed cancer, I was told by my adoptive father that he has a new family and he can not be bothered with me. He said he had already filled his obligation to me. I have been in Hawaii in a back room of a friends house the last year and a half, but my welcome has long been over here, so i must leave. I fly back to Mississippi to my trailer that I left after hurricane Katrina put 6 feet of water in, I have been told that it is dry now, and the mold is mostly gone now. I have been sick with rectal cancer for 4 years now, the treatment went wrong and I was cooked by the radiation treatment. I had rectal cancer, so my groin and buttocks are now a mass of bleeding scar tissue that will not heal. I used to have a profitable tree removal service, now I can barely walk, lol. I see other people who have family members helping and mostly just being there while the person can not fend for them self, how I wish i had that. Thank god i have a few friends in Mississippi who will help some, they drive me to doctors when they can, for i can not sit to drive, lol. I hate being this way, so helpless like a baby. I live from hand to mouth I wonder how i will pay for electricity, and all other bills, my disability check is so small $700.00 a month. I must chose between medicine and electricity some times. Anyway never take family for granted, thank them when they help you, do not think they have to. You never now what you have till it is gone. may God bless all this wonderful day.

It's really not fair that some people have to go through so much in their lives. I am so sorry to hear your story. You are a very strong person. Just never give up. I know there a lot of not so nice people out there but there a lot of good people too. Just take each day at a time. Hold on to your strengtgh and if you need to talk just come on here, everyone is so nice. Good luck to you.

hi thank you for your thoughts, may your path in life always be bright and full of wonderful people, and happiness. Life is what we make of it, I try hard to find a new path,at first I fought to stay where i was, then i saw that change was inevitable that i must go with it. Life has been easier since I started going with the flow, lol. May you have a wonderful day. ty oahu lopaka, "aka" Robert Strother

Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Mat 6:25-30 Pray for His mercy and always believe in Him God bless you

I am sorry to hear that you have to go thru all of this in your life, but always remember that when it feels that you are all alone, God is always with you. I want to share you a favorite poem that always inspire me am at my lowest....Goodluck with everything and God bless. FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it: "LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." written by Mary Stevenson
