How much Holidays Cost

Dont you just hate the fact that holiday companies charge nearly double the price for when kids are on school holidays. I went to look at holidays today to spain and the week i wanted was £679 each for 1 week self catering. If i went the week before i would only have to pay £421 each for 1 week self catering. I think that holiday companies should charge the same price all year round.
Does anyone else agree?
