Manifesting with Candle Magic

I love candle magic, it has a strange draw on me which I can't explain. I have some success at it, binding, releasing and protection spells normally goes well for me. But when it comes to manifesting with candle magic, that is when I hit brick walls.
I'm not sure why I'm having this problem, but whenever I try to manifest something into my life with candle magic, I either get no reasons or a little success which is way off the mark.
Advice anyone?

i dont know much about candle magic but i would like to find out more about doing protection spells with candles as i love candles but i know with magic it can be to do with focus so that if you focus on something and something else at the same time the energy is lost because you havent directed it instead of focusing directly on the candle you can sit in a circle of candles and then focus on the questions you want to be answered and then wait for the answers to come to you that way the direction comes from all sides aswell and no other energies can come into the circle. also you can bless the magic circle before you start the magic ask for guidance and ask the spirit (thats not the spirits its for magic to ask the great spiritual forces - so you can say the great spirit) for light truth and knowledge, and to say thanks for this truth and sight. you ask the question then aswell and then close the circle when you leave you can say thanks for this knowledge and guidance and help to see the truth and be guided by the light then if you want to get more answers you just do the same thing the next time

For protection spells, I normally light a candle and imagine drawing the fire from the candle into my aura, turning it into a burning shield around me. Sometimes I'll add to that by imagining a protection symbol onto the shield and chanting a spell as I do. Works great, but I don't advice using it too often. There are side-effects to over-using shields, they don't tell you that in books but there are.
I normally turn to my tarot decks when I need an answer. As annoying as they can be sometimes, I get better results. Your method looks very interesting though, I might add it onto my channeling methods. Thanks mailboxmoney :)

That's interesting, that you have problems in just one area with candle magic? Have you tried actually inscribing the thing you're trying to manifest into a candle, and then burning the same candle every time you're focusing on that thing, rather than just leaving it to burn out? I've had some really good luck with that approach.
I'll try to think of some more ideas for you, but my brain's a little sloggish at the moment.

Oh, you dun leave it to burn out =x? Ok, I'll have to try that night...
I normally inscribing what I what to manifest on a candle, charge, rub it down with a little homemade tincture, and let it burn out (I cheat, I use small 30 minutes candles..)

Well, see, that's what you get for cheating! lol
Just kidding! No, seriously, that is a method that is often taught, leaving it to burn out. But I never had any luck with just doing something once and then leaving the candle to burn out. I do let it burn out the last time I use it, but I usually basically work on manifesting the same thing over a period of time, not just once. Like say several times a week for a month or something.
I did that while I was jobhunting, and I went into the bank the morning after my fourth or so session, and my teller said "Oh you should apply here, we have a position open!" So of course the day before my interview was when I let the candle burn out, and this has been my favorite job in my whole life so far. =)

Hmm, I guess the trick is to keep building on it over and over. When the manifestation hit 'breaking' point, it comes. Sigh... *moves lazy behind to work*

thank you for the advice i will try your protection spell but the only thing i am a bit superstitious as fire is a living spirit aswell and then i will be calling on fire protection so i dont know what that means

Well fire is an interesting element to work with. Like other elements, it has it's strengths and weaknesses. Shielding with it can be tricky, as it drains the user very fast if not casted correctly. I can't explain the tips and tricks on working with fire, you just have to experience it yourself :)
