Yes I have a collection of e-books and I find it very useful. I'm not disturbed by the name because the content is so good for example here's one of the latest e-books that i read some months ago :"For.Dummies.Macromedia.Studio.8.All.in.one"

thanks. I find them funny and useful, never tedious. For me "for dummies" is a philosophy, a way of thinking or at least a way not to be too serious.

I have several "dummies" and "idiots" books. They are informative and fun. People that browse my bookshelves at home often laugh when they see the titles but I've learned a few things I might not otherwise have.

Yes, for me it's the same. Mine are above all about internet and computers, obviously.

I bought a computer book for dummies. It is so big that its hard to find any thing in it. so far it doesn't help at all. I wanted something that would tell mehow to use the computer. But I have found that I can get all my questions answered on the net if I ask the right question in the right way.

Yes the net can be useful for many searches and gives you Hypertext which can be better than any reference book.
