Another cool one from my brother in law. Give this a try...you'll be surprised. YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know! YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH This is pretty neat. DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute . Work this out as you read ... Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat. more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757 .... If you haven't, add 1756. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number (I.e., how! Many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.) The next two numbers are YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND

Hi Kat, I thought this is a friday night on a holiday weekend, do I really want to do math problems? But it was posted by you, so I did it. I can't believe it worked. But now I must burn the paper I used to figure it out, or my real age will be known...LOL. Now that I look at it, it looks like I don't like to eat at home at all...LOL. Thanks again for more fun!

Awwww....thanks hon. And don't feel bad. According to mine, it doesn't look like I like eating at home either. (Now if only that was true....Hehehehe)

Clever :) If you want it to work for 2008 (or any other year), increase the numbers 1756 and 1757 by one for each year after 2007. If x is the number 1 through 9 that you thought of in the first step and y is the year you were born, the formula looks like this: (2x + 5)*50 + 1756 (or 1757) - y = 100*x + Age The reason is that 2x * 50 = 100x and 5*50 = 250; add 250 to 1756 to get the year of your last birthday (2006 if you have not yet had your birthday in 2007 or 2007 if you added 1757). If you take the year of your birth from the year of your last birthday, you naturally have your age! The number of times you like to eat out is a smokescreen, of course. If you are 100 or over, you will find that you need to eat out more often, perhaps because you seem to be too young to cook for yourself!
