I'm thinking about taking a class from Penn Foster...but I'm wondering what the difference is in college degrees. Like associate and bachelors.etc. Which is better to get? What i want to do is get a job working from home as a medical transcriptionist. Would an associates degree cover it?

A bachelor's deegree is a 4 year degree. But for what you want to do (a medical transcriptionisty) I believe you'd have it covered with an associate's- in fact you may just have to take a few courses for that, so you may not even have to get a 2 year degree.

I belive for a medical transcriptionist that is actually a vocational certification and they may award an associate's degree for it. I don't think you will need to complete a full four year degree. Good luck!
