Is it that it has a swimming pool or if it is cheap or does it have cable television or is the beds soft I mean we have stayed at a few motels and we have kids and we chose them because they had pools and that they also had a hot breakfast and not so bad for price I just wanted to see if we thought alike!?

cleanliness and price. swimming pool does not matter but air conditioning in the summer does. oh man, we went to one place and the ac was smoking, so I went to the manager to ask for a different room - and she screamed at me, so I asked for a fan and she screamed at me some more. she was wicked mean. in the morning I asked that I could speak to a manager to complain about her, and the person at the desk said that SHE (the woman from the night) WAS the manager. oh boy!

I bat that was tough and it's a miracle that she gets business if she treats customers that way.

If you have to stay in a motel, it likely means you can't afford a hotel. Then budget would likely be a major concern for you. Likely you will look at the price, any discounts? and perhaps, the security/safety of the area.

When we choose a motel for the good price and if available. It has to be very clean place we always check them out before paying for it.I like to have the pools indoors or outdoors and the room has a fireplace. It just depends on qhat we can find that's available.

i choose something which is cheap but i am comfortable. my first option is to find a place where i can really rest and the amenities follows. it is okay if they offer breakfast or if they have cable televisions and jacuzzi :)

We usually choose based on location, price, reviews, pool (sometimes), and breakfast. It really just depends on where we are going.
