Have you ever visited Niagara Falls?

My husband and I went to Niagara Falls for our 15th wedding anniversary. I had always wanted to see them and finally got to. I was not disappointed. These falls are one of the most beautiful works of nature I have ever seen. We took a helicopter ride and I got pictures of the falls from above. This was awesome. If you ever go there, be sure to see them from a helicopter!

Can you believe we lived only a couple hours from Niagara Falls for 2 and a half years and never went??
I always wanted to go there, but kept putting it off. Then, my husband decided he hated all the snow we got, didn't like where he was working and started looking for a new job. We never ended up going. I'm bummed. If you post pictures on Share A Pic of Niagara Falls, let me know and I will go view them so you can make MONEY!!!!!!

I can believe it. Seems when you live close to something you think you can go see it anytime. Then time runs out on you. I'm trying to post all my pics on Share a Pic, but haven't been successful yet.

I find this to be so true...I live near Manhattan and have live here all my life but I've never been to the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building!

I have been there a few times, and was just in awe. My husband will not take a helicopter ride, so we have to stand at the rails. But, it is so beautiful. Did you see them at night with the lights on? Gorgeous.

I wanted to see them at night, but neither of us have good night vision to drive and we were staying at a campground out of town, so had to leave.
I've never visited your area of the country and would like to.

Yes, I went to Niagara Falls with my family when we lived in Ontario. It was a LONG frive from where we lived, but when we got there and I saw the beautiful falls it was SO worth it. We didn't go in the helicopter which is fine with me because I am afraid of heights and helicopters make me nervous.

The helicopter was loud and we had to wear those earphone covers. I wasn't scared tho. Just snapped photos and the pilot was nice enough to hover so I could get some good ones.

I do too. There are so many beautiful places in the world to see. Like the TV show on Discovery Channel "1000 Places to See Before You Die"!

I have an aunt who went there a few years back. She did nothing but to keep retelling her experience while watching the Niagara Falls. From the pictures alone, it was breathtaking. I do wish I can have the chance to visit this place someday.

I have been to the falls a few times now but i have never seen them from a helicopter. My bf and i are planning to go for a night in a few weeks and stay in a hotel. We only live about a 2 hour car ride away. He actually took me there on our first date, it was October and freezing rain out so it was sooo cold. it was really nice but cold..lol

Do save up and take the helicopter ride. It was expensive, but well, well worth it!
